Stasis Dermatitis is skin eczema that is found on the lower legs, associated with a blood circulation problem called venous insufficiency. This happens when the valves within the veins are no working properly. Stasis dermatitis is a condition found in middle-aged and elderly people, with mostly 6%-7% of the population above 50 years of age being affected by the condition. The chance of developing stasis dermatitis increases with advancing age and time
Symptoms include itching and or reddish-brown discoloration of the skin on one or both legs. Progression of the disease can cause blistering, oozing skin lesions seen with other forms of eczema, and ulcers may also spring up in affected areas. The chronic circulatory problems lead to an increase in edema or fluid buildup in the legs. Stasis dermatitis is also known as varicose eczema.
Dermatitis is a term that pertains irritation of the skin with scali 00004000 ng, rough or dry skin, redness, itching, and sometimes oozing, crusts, and erosion. Stasis is a term that relates to leg swelling seen in conditions of poor circulation and fluid buildup. It is skin irritation and that happens due to fluid accumulating below the skin.
In the US, stasis dermatitis occurs in 6-7% of people above 50 years of age. The risk of developing stasis dermatitis increases with age. Women are somewhat more likely to be affected, maybe due to the effect of pregnancy on the leg vein system. In younger people, statsis dermatitis is due to trauma, surgery repeated infections etc. With the right kind of medical care, this problem can be brought under control to a great extent.

Most likely. My daughter has eczema too, so I make it a point to remove any flakes she has, because if I don't, she'll lose hair in that spot. I know it hurts, but your best bet is to remove as much as you can, then wash your hair.
My daughter has a rash on her cheek and chin that look like a bug bite. It's spread and now oozes and is red!
She scratched it pretty bad for the first 2 days, now it's day 5 and she doesn't really scratch it but I'm concerned as it's red and when I try to clean it off, it seems to ooze a bit. I'm thinking poison ivy or eczema. The one on her chin seems worse because it's close to her lip and it gets moist more often. She is two. Any advice on what anybody thinks it is and/or treatment?
If it lasted this long, go to a doctor. Especially if it oozes - sounds like it might be infected (I had a skin infection once, not pretty - literally).
How come i have red stuff around my lips?
Well i've had it for a while.
When i first got it, i had chapped lips
Eventually using blistex, my chapped lips healed
However, there's this red lump to the right and upper side of my lip.
It's really annoying, embarrassing, and painful on some days.
When i sleep, puss sometimes oozes out. Is this normal?
I've tried to research about it, and it kinda sounds like lip eczema.
I assumed i've had eczema and used the treatment they suggested on other people. Chapstick,Blistex,Carmex,Triamcinolone Acetonide cream, and vaseline. Though some days its less visible , it eventually comes back. Please help, and thanks
I'm sure its not a pimple.
And coldsores have blisters if im correct, which i dont have blisters btw.
It looks like a red rash, but it doesnt itches.
it also develops alot of dead skin around that area.
